Subject: APECS-INDIA meetingDear All,
We believe, that APECS-INDIA is a group that will carry forwards the momentum of polar research, education and outreach in the years to come. To take on this challenge, we have to establish a strong, credible and effective operational framework and gain recognition within the international scientific community, creating a foundation for our APECS-INDIAN early career researchers involvement in the major polar organizations and beyond.
Thanks to the support of APECS Director, APECS excom and NCAOR, we have been able to lay foundation of APECS-INDIA. Looking to the future, we seek to strengthen our core activities and international representation to sustain APECS-INDIA as an important component of the education and development of all polar scientists. To do this, we have to develop a plan combining our need to become financially stable. Also we need to plan for our major upcoming activities in 2012.
Keeping all this in mind, we have scheduled an online meeting on 14th March at 7pm IST. Kindly confirm your participation. If anybody has some problem kindly inform at the earliest and kindly comment on the agenda, so that we know your thoughts. The report from the meeting will be circulated within a week after the meeting.
