Dr. Krithi Karanth is looking to hire 2-3 research assistants at the
Centre for Wildlife Studies for research projects to be conducted in
multiple Indian states. Assistants will have to be fluent in multiple
Indian languages, work in teams, and be extremely adaptable to field
conditions along with a strong passion for wildlife. Good people
skills are extremely important both for the research and ability to
work as part of a team. Candidates will be selected after a screening
of their applications to judge their suitability for doing the work.
Candidates must
1. Possess bachelors and/ Master's degrees in Environment, Wildlife,
Biology or related fields.
2. Be fluent in Kannada or Hindi and English. Fluency in other Indian
languages will be a bonus.
3. Physically very fit and have some experience in hiking through
rough countryside.
4. Be willing to work long and arduous hours, very meticulous and organized.
