Dear all,
We currently have an opening for a project assistant position. The work
will include lab and field based work. Our lab specializes in plant-animal
interactions and the related chemical ecology and sensory biology of these
interactions. For more information please visit

The candidate should have a minimum qualification of a Masters degree,
preferably in Biology or chemistry or B.Tech in Biotechnology.
The job will broadly involve volatile collection from plant sources, tree
surveying, volatile analysis using GC-MS in the campus of the Indian
Institute of Science and also may also include possible field work in
Bhimashankar and Agumbe (which will mostly involve volatile collections
from plants). We urge those of you interested in chemical ecology and
associated field and lab based work to apply (salary funded by DST, gov
