TISS Hyderabad announces admissions to MA programmes.
This is to draw your attention to a newly developed programme titled MA Natural Resources & Governance. The curriculum is built and will be offered with active collaboration of Foundation for Ecological Security and similar organisations who are well known in the field of Environment and Ecology.
The
aim
of
the
programme
is
to
prepare
green
professionals
with
a
sound
foundation
of
conceptual
and
theoretical
knowledge
on
ecology,
environment
and
development,
on
diverse
narratives
of
development,
and
with
a
good
grounding
in
the
field
for
a
trans‐disciplinary
understanding
of
issues,
research
and
management
skills.
The focus will be on developing a comprehensive understanding of the concepts, ethics, theories and discourses in natural resources, ecology, human‐nature interactions, institutional analysis, climate change and adaptation, rural development and sustainable development. It addresses the need, in the context of the serious environmental challenges facing the globe today.
