Please circulate the notification of one JRF post.
Opening for JRF position (CODE: BOT-22) in Molecular Taxonomy Lab, Botany Group, Agharkar Research Institute, Pune.
The 3-year project will study the molecular phylogeny of Eriocaulon from the Northern Western Ghats. The study will involve field survey, DNA extraction, amplification, sequencing and phylogeny analysis. The JRF will also be responsible for data management and analyses as well herbarium maintenance.
Scholars interested in joining this project should have keen interest in fieldwork and wet lab work. Candidates with prior knowledge on molecular phylogeny and plant taxonomy will be preferred.
